1. I am married to Troy Lower (4 years)
2. I have 2 beautiful, healthy, energetic boys
3. Garrett is the 3 1/2 year old that is strong minded and also very affectionate when he wants to be
4. Vince is the 3 month old that is smiling all the time and loves to cuddle
5. I work from home and love it (sometimes need a day off)
6. I coach and teach people on how to be goal oriented and go for their dreams until they reach them no matter what road block they encounter
7. I get so excited when one of my teammates reaches the Bonus Pool (I usually have tears of joy)
8. My favorite book right now is, "Where's Your Bucket"- Dana Neubert (read 5x)
9. I love listening to Jeffrey Combs every Tuesday night
10. I have been my own boss since 2006
11. I enjoy spending time with my husband and children especially when it is outside doing any activity
12. I love fishing and hunting (I have a 41" Muskie on my wall from 2000 in MN) Want to go to MN again!
13. I step out of the box every chance I get.
14. I knew my Mother-in-Law before she was my Mother-in-Law for many years and I wish she was still here guiding me through on how to manage boys that are just like her son!
15. I believe that anyone can do anything to better themselves if they just get out of their own way!

I am taking this moment to express my sincere appreciation in advance for any donations that you can provide for our troops.
Your gifts will provide our/your area troops with the AP-24 Oral Health Care System kits we have discovered to be a huge asset to the health of our troops on deployment. We have found great success in providing our soldiers with the AP-24 kits. The soldiers especially appreciate the non-aerosol plaque-reducing breath spray since this product aids for dry mouth in the sandy areas of the desert and the sturdy zippered bag maintains it’s quality despite constant contact with sand. Due to multiple requests for this product oversees, we are asking for the help of our communities. We have kept up with requests until now. We sincerely hope you will find a way to be a part of this initiative. It’s the least we could do for our troops!

Being my own boss
Before I started the Nu Skin business, I was working a full time job in Iowa City that required me to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift rotation. To tell you the truth, I loved it. I loved all the overtime, I liked the people, I liked my daily duties. I was a workaholic. I married and became pregnant and thought everything would work out fine with the rotating shifts and daycare. I had complications with the pregnancy and ended up being off work for 5 months with two different surgeries. I had perfect attendance at my JOB before this and disability/maternity leave do not technically count on attendance.
To make a long story short, I returned to work the 1st week of January of 06. It was so nice to get back to work so I did not get a “mommy brain” as I called it. Garrett, my son had a slight fever the 3rd week of January and being a new mom with a preemie I called in and asked for vacation. We had a team rule, that if you found someone off the system to cover you, it would not be counted as an absence, so that is what I did.
Two weeks later, I received my pay check and sure enough there was an absence. I asked my boss and he told me that it was not good for people to abuse the attendance policy!! For someone that had put their everything into their work for the last 4 years I thought it was time to take action.
I started looking for additional streams of income. I already had it in my mind I was going to quit once I found the right vehicle. I put my name on the Internet for stay at home work and I received many calls from people. Nothing sounded good until about the end of February I called one lady back. She sounded like she cared enough to help me and be trusted, so I joined.
I started my own business with Nu Skin at the beginning of March 06. I was able to replace my income within 7 months. I was able to FIRE MY BOSS and help other people like me that are looking to build more income and be their own boss, while doing it in the comfort of their own home. I make my own hours and I am able to spend time with my now 3 year old and newborn.
I was driven by a strong “why” and that is how I did it so quickly.
